This year's Galentine's Ladies Luncheon was hosted by Black Butterfly Charity. As the Founder & CEO of Black Butterfly Charity, it was such a pleasure to share in an intimate brunch and have an indepth discussion with women who know all too well how the presence of uterine fibroids can affect your daily living and future family plans.
It is imperative that these women stop suffering in silence. We know that 80% of all women will have fibroids by their mid-30's. They disporportionally affect women of color. We want to shed light on these issues and advocate for more research, educate all women including the youth and their moms and support in ways that will make it possible for individuals to have more options.
